窯の蓋置。中位にくびれのある井戸のような枠の中を、笠をかぶった人物が覗き込んでいる。
一閑人（いっかんじん）は利休好みといわれる七種蓋置の一つに数えられ、本来は文具からの転用といわれている。
A kiln lid rest featuring a frame resembling a well with a constriction in the middle, into which a person wearing a hat is peering. The Ikkanjin (one devoted to leisurely pursuits) is counted among the seven types of lid rests favored by Sen no Rikyu, and is originally said to have been repurposed from a piece of stationery.
